BASINGSTOKE Ice Skating Club

About

Basingstoke Ice Skating Club is a self-funded organisation run by a voluntary committee, with a membership of approximately 100 skaters, with ages ranging from 6 to 60+. The club is an affiliated member of NISA the governing body for ice skating in the UK

The Club is open to all skaters who have passed their Skate UK Star Programme Bronze Award and provides for the disciplines of Figure, Ice Dance and Synchronised Team Skating.

Club Activities

Basingstoke Ice Skating Club has regular ice time on Sunday mornings at Planet Ice, Basingstoke Arena. 

Activities include:
  • Sunday club ice - group coaching
  • Master classes
  • Club competitions
  • Inter-club competitions
  • Participation in the National Team Challenge
  • Host the Basingstoke Opens - national competition
  • Galas
  • Trips and social activities

Join Us

New club members are always welcome - please contact a member of the committee for more information. Potential members can attend two trial sessions.

We always need helpers for activities and events, again please contact a member of the committee to volunteer.

Membership Fees

Membership fees for skaters are currently £120 per year (monthly payments available) and runs from 1 Jan to 31 Dec.

The membership fee covers attending the Sunday club ice time from January to end September (until Christmas show rehearsals start)
